Biography

Harir Shariatzadeh (born June 1, 1977, in Tehran) is a distinguished Iranian musician specializing in playing the piano and the daf.

Harir Shariatzadeh began playing the piano at the age of five. During her early education, from middle school to her second year of high school, she studied under renowned teachers such as Javad Maroufi, Mrs. Javaheri, and Mrs. Fakhri Malekpour. She mastered the technique of Ostad Mahjoubi and continued her musical journey in this style. Additionally, she learned traditional Persian vocal radifs from Mrs. Parisa.

Shariatzadeh pursued her academic studies in nutrition at a public university and later continued her education in music. She has one sister and two brothers; one brother and her sister reside in Germany, while her other brother lives in Tehran. Her brother in Iran is a physician who also studied tar under masters like Hamid Motebassem and Tahmasebi. Her maternal grandfather, originally from Sirjan, was known for his melodious voice, a talent that seems to have been passed down through the family.
